Scrambled tofu - also called scrambled tofu - is a little reminiscent of the classic scrambled egg. The good thing about it: it tastes really delicious and is completely vegan! You can eat it on its own, on bread or in combination with fried mushrooms, spinach and tomatoes (mmh delicious!). We opted for the classic version on a delicious sandwich. Give it a try!
This is what you need for it:
- 200g natural tofu
- 3 tbsp oat drink from Oat Base
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
- Pinch of pepper
- 2 slices of bread of your choice
- 1 tbsp vegan mayonnaise
- 1 handful rocket
- Peppers and / or tomato slices
1. Mix 1 tbsp Oat Base with water.
Mash the tofu with a fork and place in a pan with a little oil.
Fry the tofu briefly, then add the oat drink and spices and mix well.
Lightly toast the bread slices and spread with vegan mayonnaise.
Then top the bread with rocket, stir-fried tofu and peppers or tomatoes (if desired).
