Material
Our packaging is made of monoplastic and is therefore 100% recyclable. Most importantly, it saves a lot of beverage cartons. We are always looking for new and better ways to reduce our environmental footprint. So if you have any suggestions, feel free to let us know!
For a glass of oat drink (200 ml), simply mix 2 tablespoons (10 g each) of the Oat Base with 200 ml of water.
For a glass of Oat Latte, Vanilla or Cocoa (200 ml), simply mix 2 well-heaped tablespoons (12 g each) of the Oat Base with 200 ml of water.
For more oat drink, simply mix a larger amount of base with the appropriate amount of water.

The Vanilla Oat Base contains real organic bourbon vanilla. It is sourced directly from vanilla farmers to support shorter supply chains and fair wages for farmers.

How do I prepare the Oat Base?

Does Oat Base contain sugar?
Our Calcium Oat Base is free from added sugar.
In our Cocoa and Vanilla Oat Base and we use coconut blossom sugar, because we want to avoid industrial sugar in our products. Due to the natural sweetness of the Organic Oat Base, we also do not need to add as much sugar to create a really delicious cocoa, or vanilla drink.
Do the cocoa and vanilla Oat Base also taste cold?
The Cocoa and Vanilla Oat Base tastes both cold as a delicious refreshment and warm as a creamy treat on gray days.
Why does Calcium Oat Base contain red algae powder?
According to EU regulations, additives such as pure calcium carbonate are not allowed in organic foods. In order to still be able to offer you a full range of organic products and the extra portion of calcium, we have switched to a natural calcium source. Red algae contain a particularly high amount of calcium.
Can you taste the red algae powder in the Calcium Oat Base?
Don't worry, the Calcium Oat Base tastes neither fishy nor algaey, but slightly sweet and mild, as you are used to from our Organic Oat Base.
Where does the cocoa in Cocoa Oat Base come from?
The cocoa comes from the Dominican Republic. It is imported directly through Suyana. Suyana also controls the working conditions and cultivation methods on site to promote sustainable, responsible business practices.
Where does the vanilla in Vanilla Oat Base come from?
While many vanilla drinks only get vanilla flavor, our Oat Base Vanilla contains real organic bourbon vanilla from Madagascar, India, Indonesia, Uganda. We make sure that the vanilla is sourced directly from the farmers whenever possible to keep supply chains short and ensure fairer wages for the farmers.
Are the Oat Bases gluten-free?
Ja! Gemäß der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 41/2009 sind unsere Produkte glutenfrei. Das bedeutet, dass der Glutengehalt unter den gesetzlich vorgegebenen <20 ppm liegt und ist damit als glutenfrei deklariert.
