Material
Like our product packaging, the packaging of our trial sizes is made of mono-plastic. This makes them completely recyclable.
Since our product is an enzymatically treated one, we need a very high barrier property of our packaging, which currently can only be guaranteed by plastic. Thus, monoplastic is currently the best option for us thanks to its complete recyclability.

Your questions, our answers
How do I prepare the Oat Base?
Simply mix or shake the Oat Base with 100ml of water according to the amount indicated on the package and foam up if you like. If you use an electric frother, you can also add the Oat Base directly to the frother with the water and froth it up.
Does the Oat Base contain additional sugar?
In general, we try to add as little additives and sugar as possible to our products without compromising on taste.
Oats does have sugar naturally, but the Barista Oat Base contains no extra added sugar, no oil and no preservatives. We also completely eliminate added sugar in our chai and matcha.
Can I also foam up the Oat Base?
Our Oat Bases and our Latte Mixes are particularly easy to froth directly in the frother with cold water. Be careful not to heat the Oat Bases too high (above 60°C).
How does the Oat Base taste?
Our Oat Base Classic tastes naturally fresh like oats. Compared to a homemade oat drink, the consistency is very pure, which is due to the enzymatically treated oats that dissolve extremely well and bring out the natural sweetness of the oats. For more creaminess, simply add more Oat Base to your drink.
What is the shelf life of Oat Base?
Our Oat Bases are usually also open several months to a year (according to the MHD) shelf life.
Since the Barista Oat Base is a completely new product, there are not yet sufficient long-term tests that can prove a longer MHD than 6 months from production.
Do the latte mixes also taste good cold?
Absolutely! You can drink it either hot or cold. Shhh... Add a few ice cubes and you have the perfect summer refreshment!
