SuperLattes are special lattes that contain ingredients such as superfoods, super spices, adatopgens and other nutrient-rich foods that can promote your health and well-being compared to conventional lattes.
Adaptogens (e.g. medicinal mushrooms) are natural active ingredients that can strengthen the immune system and have a vitalizing effect. They help the body to adapt better to stressful situations and various challenges. Adaptogens act on the nervous system and can help to maintain balance and well-being even in stressful times. As the safety of some adaptogens (e.g. medicinal mushrooms) and superfoods has not been sufficiently investigated during pregnancy and breastfeeding, their use during this time and their consumption by small children is not recommended. Instead of a short-term energy boost or sugar overkill, we rely on natural ingredients such as adaptogens and superfoods that provide your body with valuable nutrients and support it instead of burdening it.
Most of our SuperLattes do not contain any added sugar. Many of our SuperLattes contain sugar from vegetable and fruit powders, as well as sugar from the fermentation of the oats during the manufacturing process. In some cases, we add a small amount of cane or coconut blossom sugar, but the sugar content remains well below that of conventional lattes.
Most of our SuperLattes are caffeine-free. We have deliberately avoided caffeine, particularly in the varieties that contain medicinal mushrooms such as reishi or chaga (e.g. Chai Oat Latte, Chagaccino), so as not to impair the respective effect of the medicinal mushrooms. One exception is our Matcha Oat Latte, which contains caffeine from green tea. Green tea is rich in bioactive compounds such as flavonoids, chlorophyll and fiber, which can promote health, and contains L-theanine, an amino acid that has a calming effect and alleviates the negative effects of caffeine such as nervousness and palpitations.
