Your questions, our answers
In the production of Oat Base, the oats are treated enzymatically so that they get that light sweetness and delicious creaminess when dissolved in water. This also means that we can do without the binders and other ingredients that many ready-made oat drink products contain.
Our Pure Oat Base cannot be compared one-to-one with homemade oat drink. We use gluten-free oats and treat them with natural enzymes. This results in a natural sweetness and a creamy oat drink that dissolves well and does not become slimy or flocculate in coffee.
Our Oat Bases do not contain any added sugar. However, the Oat Bases do contain sugar from the fermentation of the oats that occurs during the manufacturing process.

Our Pure Oat Base naturally tastes fresh like oats. Compared to a homemade oat drink, the consistency is very creamy, as the enzymatically treated oats dissolve very well and the natural sweetness of the oats comes into its own. For an even creamier consistency, simply add more Oat Base to the drink.
Our Pure Oat Base foams particularly well directly in the frother with cold water. Please note, however, that this is not a barista version. If you are looking for perfect foam and creaminess for your coffee, our Barista Oat Base is just the thing for you.
We only use European organic oats for our Pure Oat Base. Production and further processing takes place in Germany.
