No, we do not add any additional sugar to the Happy Gut, as this can promote the growth of harmful bacteria and yeasts in the gut and disrupt the balance of the intestinal flora. However, the Oat Base does contain sugar, which is created by the fermentation of the oats during the manufacturing process, as well as high-quality fruit powders such as pineapple, peach and mango powder, which contain natural fructose.

We always strive to ensure the highest quality and sustainability in our products. Almost all of the ingredients in the Happy Gut, including our high-quality fruit powders, are already certified organic. The only exception at present is apple cider vinegar, for which there is unfortunately not yet an organic version in the form we require.

Our gut-friendly SuperLatte is formulated to meet the needs of most people: Happy Gut is plant-based, gluten-free and contains the prebiotic fiber inulin to support digestion. Happy Gut is not suitable for a low FODMAP diet (e.g. irritable bowel syndrome) as it contains fructose and inulin. The product should be kept out of the reach of children and infants.

Our Happy Gut contains prebiotic fiber from chicory inulin and calcium from red algae, which can aid digestion. We've also added oat beta-glucan, a soluble fiber that can help regulate blood sugar levels, promote heart health and improve digestion, as well as natural organic fruit powders from mango, pineapple and peach.

We use prebiotics instead of probiotics because prebiotics act as nutrients for the health-promoting bacteria already present in the gut and support their growth. This promotes gut health naturally, whereas probiotics introduce external bacteria that may not be able to colonize the gut permanently and need to be customized.

We use the prebiotic fiber inulin to support healthy digestion. Note: For some people, larger amounts of inulin can cause bloating and discomfort, especially when they first add it to their diet. We therefore recommend starting with one portion of Gut Health per day and observing how the body reacts to it.

Although a balanced diet is important, it is sometimes not enough to meet all the special needs of the gut. Happy Gut offers you plant-based calcium from red algae, lots of fiber (from purely plant-based sources) and superfoods that can provide additional support for your digestion.
